Reta says one of the best things about working with Meredith is that she never dreamed she'd get to spend so much time with her grown daughter. Meredith helped a few friends plan their weddings before enlisting her mom's help in starting French 75 Events. Now, Reta drives up to Raleigh regularly from her home in Charlotte to meet with brides, with the added bonus of spending some mother-daughter time.
Meredith: "I never thought in a million years I would be working with my mother, especially after all the fights on school mornings, but she is the best partner I could ever hope for. She is the greatest taskmaster! "
Reta: "I am such a driven person...and Meredith takes a more laid-back approach, which makes me wonder if she was switched at birth! (It) actually works to our advantage, providing the balance for our team."
